somebody had the brilliant idea to have the final obstacle be treading water (with lifejackets) but with the ulterior motive being so they could clean off before being presented their coins (kind of like pit drill the day before laundry day)

after some initial confusion by the cadets about the process, Scotty taking the initiative and doing a briefing to the cadets about the significance of this “ceremony” and how an OB rep would read out a college number and that cadet was to come forward to receive their College coin.
