2019 40th Reunion
Although the 40th Reunion is over and was very successful by all accounts, this page will be retained for future reference. The list below is the Final Attendees List showing who attended each event.
Please note that for the four Class-specific events, sign-up is required in advance with the Class OPI in order to allow for ordering of food, arranging tee times etc. That is, with Larry Richardson for Golf, and with Rich Gimblett for the Meet and Greet, the Shire Luncheon and the Fort Henry Run. If you do not already have their contact details, that information can be obtained on request via the Contact Us page, noting that the Contact Us e-mail actually goes to Rich himself.

Evening: 1800 hrs for 1900 hrs. Legacy Dinner (RMC Foundation fund-raiser) at Senior Staff Mess. Cost $200. NB. This event has been sold out.
Friday 13 Sep 2019
Morning: 0930 hrs for 1000 hrs. Class Golf Tournament at the Landings Golf Course (by the Airport - map below). OPI Larry Richardson. Cost $70 per golfer for green fees, continental breakfast, lunch and prizes, payable at the Course. Carts extra and available for nominal fee ($30 if two golfers). Registration will be from 0930 hrs to 1000 hrs, with first tee-off at 1000 hrs.
Afternoon: 1430 hrs. First Year Obstacle Course and Coin Presentation (Free to observe)
Evening: 1800 hrs for 1900 hrs. Meet & Greet at Senior Staff Mess. Dress: Smart Casual. Costs approximately $20 per person for Buffet. Money will be collected at the door.

Morning: 1000 hrs. First Year Badging Parade (Free to observe)
Afternoon: 1200 hrs for 1230 hrs. Catered buffet lunch and camaraderie at “The Shire” (Chez Avis, Cartwright Point). Dress: Relaxed Casual. Cost approximately $20 per person and will be collected at the door. At some point we will hold a quick meeting to discuss Class business.
Afternoon: 1330 hrs. Wall of Honour Ceremony (Free to Observe)
Evening: Open Evening, but events so far are:
1730 for 1800 hrs. RMC Club Buffet BBQ - Senior Staff Mess. Dress: Casual. “Social only” starts after 2000 hrs. Cost $25 per person or $5 if attending the Social only. Tickets available at link below:
1800 hrs (TBC). 6 Sqn - Aquaterra Restaurant: Ritchie Smendziuk has tentatively booked the Fort Henry Room which holds up to 24 (12 Couples). Will be on First Come First Served Basis. OPI Marc Fraser.

Accommodation
I presume many of you already have made bookings, or have your own points programs, but for the undecided here are two block booking options we have made:
Super 8 Motel — Located on Highway 2, just east of the CFB Kingston Vimy Barracks entrance (close to Chez Avis / “The Shire”). Raj Patel is the General Manager and his number is 1-613-549-1620. If you rent for two nights or more, we have the special price of $129 a night. We have a block of 10 rooms (2 double beds) pre-booked for Friday, Saturday and Sunday (13-14-15 Sep). People can choose how many nights they want when they book.
Holiday Inn Waterfront — NB Please note that while there may still be regular rooms available at this hotel, the rooms block booked for the Class of 1979 have all been spoken for as of 9 August 2019.
Located downtown, we have a block of flexible arrival-departure dates from Thursday 12 Sep through Monday 16 Sep, with two classes of rooms:
