the contingent comptroller trailer - while the contingent was much smaller than a typical base in canada, the work was much more difficult because they often dealt with issues we had never seen in canada, including MILITARY FOREIGN service regulations and a full credit system through npf. Also since we had troops located all over the place in undof and untso, we needed to be able to provide service 24/7. the cashier was particularly challenging because they had to deal with multiple currencies and ever changing foreign exchange rates including us dollars, canadian dollars, israeli shekels and syrian pounds.
