editor’s note: in an effort to teach the frigate guys how to shave properly, without cutting themselves, a recruit would be asked to attempt to shave a water-filled - oh … let’s just call it a “balloon” - without breaking it. but wait! there’s more! the balloon in question would be perched on the top of another recruit’s head and well … let’s just say jim wishloff found out what happens if the shaver was not reeeaaal careful.
